Locate Underground Utilities
at LAX Airport, LA California

Locating underground utilites at LAX In May of 2010, ARB Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, needed to locate underground utilities at LAX Airport prior to excavation around several terminal gates. They wanted to avoid any electrical and fiber optic cables that would be in the path of their excavation, prior to boring under the terminal, through the use of ground penetrating radar technology. The lines they had found prior to using GPR, were not on any of the layouts. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems in LA was contacted. Chad Fischer from the Houston, TX office went in to assist.  GPRS was able to arrive on site when needed to help them by finding and marking any lines in their path, helping them to avoid any interruption in airport operation, at the worlds 6th largest airport.

Chad Fischer serves as regional manager for Houston and San Antonio, Texas. He can be reached at, or by phone at: 281-728-7025 or 210-607-0361.
