Ground Penetrating Radar Scan Performed To Locate Underground Storage Tanks
- Pasadena, California

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. - GPRS - of California was contacted to determine whether underground storage tanks remained at a former gas station property in Pasadena, CA. GPR was also used to locate underground utilities near soil boring locations. Ground penetrating radar was used to scan the entire property. All of the utilities and one UST were painted on the surface. The utilities that were located included gas, water, sewer, air lines, and conduit. The soil borings could then be completed without damaging utilities. The UST was added to a site map that was provided in a report.
