GPRS Works To Locate Underground Utilities At Shopping Center - Orange County, California

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) often works to locate underground utilities in many different environments. GPRS has worked with military bases, new construction, pipeline installation, residential areas, and remodels of existing structures. Recently, GPRS worked at Orange County shopping center and mall to locate existing underground utilities. The client was planning to tear down and rebuild a store and needed to know where all existed utilities were located. GPRS was able to respond to the client’s request immediately whereas 811 services would not have been able to respond for at least two weeks. GPRS was able to identify and mark utilities on the surface of the ground and provide a detailed drawing of the findings to the customer. GPRS can report any and all findings using GPS and CAD. The client was able to move on the project and safely uncover existing lines.
