GPRS Works At Water Treatment Plant
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) worked at a water treatment plant in the greater Los Angeles area to identify rebar in concrete walls and floors. The client was installing new water lines and had to attach the lines to existing surfaces by anchoring the pipes into the concrete. GPRS was able to mark all of the existing rebar in the concrete. The client was anchoring 8” bolts and GPRS helped them avoid hitting any rebar on the job site.
GPRS utilizes the most cutting-edge and up-to-date GSSI GPR equipment which emits no radiation and presents no safety hazards to the client or environment. Findings can be marked directly on the surface of the object being scanned with no wait time for processing or developing. GPRS can help you locate post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, and underground utilities prior to core drilling, saw-cutting, or trenching.
