Subsurface GPR Scanning GPRS California

GPRS Used at Petco Park - San Diego, California

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) was contacted by a client who needed to locate existing rebar and conduits in the concrete walls at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, in California. GPRS used Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to help the client map out all of the existing rebar and electrical conduit in several concrete walls prior to core drilling. In the past the client had attempted using x-ray services to locate rebar and conduits in the floor as well as utilities under the concrete slab but found that GPRS has been much more reliable, safe, and cost-efficient. GPRS was able to successfully scan the concrete walls and mark all existing rebar and conduit directly on the surface so that the client could core drill through the wall directly following the scan. GPRS utilizes the most cutting-edge and up-to-date GSSI GPR equipment which emits no radiation and presents no safety hazards to the client or environment. Findings can be marked directly on the surface of the object being scanned with no wait time for processing or developing. GPRS can help you locate post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, and underground utilities prior to core drilling, saw-cutting, or trenching. Please contact Ground Penetrating Radar Systems - GPRS to learn how we can assist with your project. GPRS has offices throughout the entire state including Los Angeles and San Diego.
