GPRS Used at Local Casino - Pauma Valley, California

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) was able to help a client determine the type of support structure for several outdoor columns at a casino in Pauma Valley, California about half an hour north-east of San Diego. The client was installing a new shelter at the entrance of the casino which required new columns to be constructed. GPRS was able to use ground penetrating radar in order to help the client determine the type of support structure beneath the columns and the size of the support structure enabling the client to reuse the structure that was already beneath the column.

The alternative to using the services provided by GPRS would have required the client to spend a much greater amount of time and money to dig out the structures. GPRS was able to give the client the valuable information that they needed within two hours of the clients initial request for service. Digging the structure out would have set the clients project back by days and cost significantly more money when GPRS was able to accomplish the same task within hours. GPRS discovered that the columns were supported by circular caissons extending several feet out around the column and below the caissons existed an even wider foundation. GPRS utilizes the most cutting-edge and up-to-date GSSI GPR equipment which emits no radiation and presents no safety hazards to the client or environment. Findings can be marked directly on the surface of the object being scanned with no wait time for processing or developing. GPRS can help you locate post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, and underground utilities prior to core drilling, saw-cutting, or trenching.
