GPRS Finds Utilities At High School
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) has worked with several schools in Southern California from nationally recognized universities to private elementary schools and everything in between. Often times schools need to run new lines, build additional buildings, or make other alterations to the campus and in order to conduct these projects they need to make sure they don’t damage existing utilities. GPRS has worked with schools and universities in Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Diego amongst other areas in the region. GPRS can locate gas, power, phone, water, and sewer lines that may run near the installation of new lines or buildings. Directional soil borings and trenching are two of the primary methods used for new construction and installations but these methods can be very costly if they damage or destroy existing lines. GPRS will mark existing lines to make directional boring and trenching safe and cost efficient.
GPRS utilizes the most cutting-edge and up-to-date GSSI GPR equipment which emits no radiation and presents no safety hazards to the client or environment. Findings can be marked directly on the surface of the object being scanned with no wait time for processing or developing. GPRS can help you locate post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, and underground utilities prior to core drilling, saw-cutting, or trenching.
