Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. - GPRS - of California was contacted by a sports complex building company to locate post tension cables in (12) 4' x 4' areas prior to coring to install net posts. The client was to replace their temporary mobile nets with permanent ones as they had issues with them falling down often. We found that the post tension cables were 2' on center and were 2.5" deep in the concrete. We marked all of our findings with pink spray paint as work was not to begin until later that month. We were conveniently there for only 1 hour as the client had multiple locations he had to get to. We used our 1600 MHz antenna and Radio Detection to locate the post tension cables and any signs of possible conduits.
