Concrete Scanning of Basement Walls for Homeowner - Los Angeles, CA
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. - GPRS - of California was contacted by a homeowner to perform concrete scanning (“GPR”) in Los Angeles, CA. Concrete scanning was used to check for rebar and thickness in their basement walls due to the walls cracking and falling apart. After scanning we were able to determine that there had not been any rebar placed into the walls when they were poured. We also determined the concrete was approximately 5” think. The homeowner had asked for a report of the findings, so after all the work was complete GPRS was able to perform a formal report and sent it to the homeowner.
